FAQs

Everything you need to know when you find a card.

What is The Passing Project?

A physical card with a QR code that tracks its journey around the world. Each finder adds a short chapter — location, story, and optional photo — then passes the card on.

Do I need an account?

No account is required. Open the card page, add your chapter, and pass it on. We only ask for what you are happy to share publicly on the journey page.

What should I write in my chapter?

A few honest sentences work best — where you found the card, how it made you feel, or where you left it for the next person. Kindness, not perfection.

Can I upload a photo?

You can paste an image URL when submitting your chapter. Direct photo upload from your device is coming soon.

Is my location shared publicly?

Yes — your city and country appear on the card's timeline so others can follow the journey. Do not share exact addresses or private details.

What if I want to keep the card?

The spirit of the project is to pass it on. If you are unable to, you can still add your chapter — but leaving it for someone else is how the ripple grows.
